Tailoring Maison is a culmination of many years of practical experience in art, design, and fashion, and a constant drive to care for the environment through slowing fashion down. Jennifer Bruce created Tailoring Maison after working for several years as a tailor and designer for private clients and the entertainment industry. With a background in the visual arts, a lifelong sewing practice, and unyielding standard for perfection, she has developed a gift for working in unique, high-demand and discrete settings, generating high-performing results.

 

In response to the often repeated “a good tailor is hard to find”, she created Tailoring Maison with a mission to bring private, concierge style tailoring and design services and private on-site fittings to a wider community. Understanding that existing tailoring services can be a pain, and are sometimes just not an option for people with a busy schedule or have unique fitting needs.
