Tailoring maison is a culmination of many years of design, fabrication, sewing and high-end tailoring experience. Jennifer Bruce created Tailoring Maison after working for several years as a tailor and designer for private clients and the entertainment industry. With a background in the visual arts, a lifelong sewing practice, and unyielding standard for perfection, she has developed a gift for working in unique, high-demand and discrete settings, generating high-performing results.

 

In response to the frequently heard statement “a good tailor is hard to find”, she created Tailoring Maison with a mission to bring private, concierge-style, on-site tailoring and design services to a wider community. She also recognized a glaring absence of tailoring and wardrobe options for non-binary clients and those that require extended and specialized sizing. Tailoring Maison offers creative and elevated solutions to serve a broader, more diverse community.
